PowerTech continues to improve our generators with the latest design techniques, technology, and component upgrades. Our design team is driven by internal testing and customer feedback to create generator improvements to better serve our customers in the field.
Our quiet enclosure systems have been upgraded to provide better accessibility. According to our customers' feedback, access to the breakers, control panel, and air filter housing was difficult with the old enclosure housing and door. Engineering redesigned PowerTech's quiet enclosure system with a few upgrades to provide the accessibility our customers need.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS
We continue to improve our generators with the latest design techniques, technology, and component upgrades.
LARGER ACCESS DOOR
PowerTech redesigned the enclosure door to provide as many access points as you would find on our open generator models. The remodeled design eliminates one of the panels on the front-facing side of the generator. Eliminating that panel removes all restrictions to the service side of the generator set, giving the user a full view of the control panel, breakers, and air cleaner. In addition, the user also can view the oil and fuel filter, as well as the base pan and mounts.
QUICK ACCESS DOOR
In the previous design, PowerTech had the quick access door and didn't want to remove that feature when updating the main door. Our engineering team redesigned the new panel with the quick access door installed. The quick access door provides accessibility to the control panel.
BREAKER RELOCATION
When reviewing the enclosure improvements, the PowerTech engineering team redesigned the breaker location from the side of the generator to the front access side of the generator set. The relocation of the breakers gives users easy visibility and access to reset the breakers.
